I picked up Age of Empires 2 about a year ago and enjoyed it to a point, but I wasn't a fan of the way troops were so individualized (making all battles seem small scale) or the huge focus on resource and building management. It was one of my favorite games back then, but I haven't played it in like 7-8 years, or many strategy games at all, for that matter. I played the first Company of Heroes throughout my childhood.
